HOTEL POLICY
Rates policy:
Rates include: Deluxe a la carte breakfast, Complimentary welcome drink upon arrival, Free Wi-Fi / Netflix, Daily Maid Service, bathrobes, slippers, luxury amenities.
Booking Fees & Taxes: Rates include Accommodation / VAT (13%) / Municipal fee (0.50%).Climate Resilience Tax is not included in room rates.
Climate Resilience Tax: March to October: €2.00/room/night, November to February: €0.50/room/night
Additional Charges: Any extra meals, services, or amenities not included in the room rate will incur an additional charge. Guests will be notified of these costs prior to using the extra services. Any outstanding balances must be paid when checking out.
Rate Adjustments: Rates may change at any time and could increase or dicrease based on the hotel’s decision. However, any rate changes will not impact reservations that have already been confirmed.
Extra guests / Adults’ rates: We apply a fee of 40 euros for each extra guest aged 12 and older. For children over 12 years old, rates policy for an extra adult guest is applied.
Extra guests / Childrens’ rates: For infants 0-2 years old, no extra cost will be charged and a baby cot will be provided in the room. For children 2-12 years old, no extra cost will be charged from Nov until Feb, thus from Mar until Oct an extra cost of 20 euros / children will be charged.
Payment policy:
Standard (flexible) Rate: Confirmation of reservation requires the customer’s credit card details as a guarantee for the reservation or a deposit of the total amount of the stay (100%). Credit card charges will be made 7 days before arrival. Monsieur Didot reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to the guest’s arrival.
Non-Refundable Rate: This rate is available only on a non-refundable basis. Prepayment: The total price of the reservation may be charged any time after booking, but not later than 7 days before arrival. Monsieur Didot reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to the guest’s arrival.
Settlement of Bills: In case your reservation is not fully prepaid, bills must be settled on presentation, via credit/debit card or cash in Euro. Personal cheques are not accepted.
Remaining balance: We securely keep your credit card details on file which will be used only in the instance of remaining balance after your departure.
Cancellation & No-Show policy:
Standard (flexible) Rate: The customer can cancel their reservation up to 7 days before arrival and no fees will be applied. In case of cancellation beyond 7 days before arrival, the total amount of the stay is charged to the customer and no refund will be issued.
Non-Refundable Rate: In case of cancellation, no refund will be issued.
Last-minute: Kindly note that no refund is applied in case of a last-minute cancellation or non-show in both policies.
General Hotel Rules:
Arrival: Check-in is at 15:00 on the arrival day. There must be at least one guest over 18 years old in every reservation made. All the guests’ names along with the main guest’s name on the reservation must be identified and recorded by the reception. All guests must present their ID card, Passport or Temporary Residence Card upon check-in. By law, visitors must present required personal documents for hotel records and agree that their personal details will be kept on the record of the hotel.
Early arrival: Please inform the reception desk if you wish your room before this time and an early check-in will be possible depending on the availability. If the room is available, no extra charge for this service will be charged.
Departure: Check-out time is at 11:00 on the departure day. If the guest does not check out by the end of their stay, the management has the right to remove the guest and their belongings from the room.
Late departure: If you’d like to keep your room past the checkout time, please let the reception know. A late check-out may be possible depending on room availability. If the room is available, an additional fee will apply as: Complimentary upon availability until 13:00, full day rate for check out after 13:00.
Luggage storage: Available for early arrivals and late departures, at guests’ risk if any loss or damage from any cause. Luggage may not be stored for a period longer than guests’ stay, except for agreement with the management.
Children: We are happy to welcome children of all ages to stay with adults in our rooms. To help us ensure a comfortable experience, please let us know if children will be staying during the booking process. For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, we ask that children be supervised by an adult at all times, both in the rooms and public areas. Please do not leave children unattended. Pets: We are so happy that you and your pet have chosen to stay with us. We love all creatures and we want to make sure that you have an enjoyable stay with us. We also want to make sure that you and all of our guests are safe at all times.
Below are the house rules:
– Safety first. Pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier while in public spaces of the house.
– Subject to availability, your room will be located on the ground floor for easy access to outdoor areas.
– We understand that sometimes pets can cause some damage. If this happens, you should assume responsibility for the costs for the repair of any damages or additional cleaning requirements, including labor costs.
– Pets must be with a designated individual at all times, and hot be left unattended in the rooms –we don’t want lonely pets…!
– Housekeeping will enter your room only if your pet is not present, or you are present and can monitor your pet (dogs must be on a leash).
– Our team will ask for the details of your credit card as a guarantee. A credit card charge / deposit / cash of 50 euros is required as a guarantee for the possible damages. This will be refunded in case of no damage. In case of a cash deposit, our team must inspect the room before cash is returned.
Guest’s Belongings Safety: Each room comes with a safe box for the protection of your valuables. Please store important items like passports, electronics, jewelry, etc., in the safe. Make sure the safe is properly locked when you leave the room. Before checking out, guests are responsible for ensuring the safe is empty. The hotel is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to items not securely stored in the safe box.
Lost & Found: Monsieur Didot bears no responsibility for personal belongings left behind, after your check out. However, should we find any forgotten items in your room after your departure, we will do our best to return them to you quickly and safely. Please note that wallets, money, and credit cards cannot be mailed through any postal service in Greece.
Guests’ visitors: Visitors must check in at the reception upon arrival, stay with the guest at all times, and are not permitted to remain in the rooms after 11:00 PM.
Guest conduct: Guests are expected to behave in a courteous and respectful manner towards other guests and hotel staff, ensuring they do not cause any disruptions or disturbances on the hotel premises. The hotel management reserves the right to ask any guest to leave their room or any other area of the hotel, without prior notice or explanation. If asked to leave, guests are required to comply. In such cases, the management may also remove the guest’s belongings from the room.
Smoking: Smoking or vaping is not allowed in indoor areas. Should you would like to smoke at outdoor areas (rooftop and verandas/balconies), kindly use the provided ashtrays.
Property Damage: We kindly ask for your cooperation in adhering to our property damage policy. Please note that you are responsible for any loss, damage, or theft involving our property, whether caused by you, your visitors, or those under your care. This policy applies throughout our premises, including rooms, common areas, and amenities. While we understand accidents can happen, we appreciate your consideration and respectful use of our facilities. In the event of damage or theft, we will charge the cost of repairs, replacements, or recoveries to your credit card. We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain the quality of our property and provide a great experience for all guests.
Photographs and Videos: Feel free to take photos and share them with your friends on social media. However, using any photos or videos taken on hotel property for commercial or public purposes requires prior approval from management. If you would like to use your room or any hotel spaces for a commercial photo or video shoot, please notify us in advance.
